Anambara Vote Updates - Peaceful Voting and Collation



According to the information passed by the Indegenious people of Biafra (IPOB),advising everyone to sit at home,with the notion that the exercise was not meant for the interest of the people... it has been noted that the voting process has been very peaceful in most part of the states and the military agents are at brain alert to ensure that nobody disrupts the ongoing process...

By statistics, it has proven that people came out in good number irrespective of the threats, to ensure that the exercise their franchise..

INEC advises voters to take record of their votes with phones, cameras and pictures to ensure the credibility of the INEC electoral process.

Incomplete Election Materials: it has been reported that in some places of the state, their were no voting due to the fact that their were no materials for some polling units.
The Crowd in the location expressed their unhappiness with this developments which disrupted  the success of this process. 

Errors at the Voting Exercie

Card Reader Malfunction
Card readers at various units has malfunctioned in some areas, and a manual accreditation has taken place or is on-going..
37 candidates are contesting in the Governorship election, among them is the incumbent governor, Willie Obiano of the All Progressive grand alliance.
Accreditation and voting in some local government started as early as 8 a.m although reports of card readers not working has been a common complaint.
Governor Obiano arrived at his polling unit at Eri Primary School Aguleri, to cast his vote, but also the card reader also didn’t recognize his thumbprint. He had to use an alternative to vote.
Meanwhile, there were also complaints of the failure of the card readers and a few allegations of some people wanting to influence voters’ choice at the ballot.
